Problem & context

Joaia’s B2B customers needed to feed their own knowledge (documents in any format) into their guides, and manage everything around them: personality, voice, and how the guide shows up on their own website via an embeddable conversational assistant.

My role

Guide Studio was built by a two-person team. I built the knowledge pipeline, the guide engine integration, voice creation and the DevOps pipelines, plus the custom integrations for the Zürich app.

What I built

• A knowledge pipeline on Azure: customers upload documents in any format, an Azure Function extracts the relevant content and distributes it to their guides.
• Integration with the guide engine, the NestJS AI service powering guide responses.
• Voice creation, so each guide gets its own narrated personality.
• The DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for the platform.
• The custom integrations bringing Zürich’s guides into the city guide app.
